Approach

FPG follows a systematic and disciplined engineering approach on all projects.  This ensures that all aspects of your operation are taken into consideration in the solutions that are developed, and that these solutions are functional and implemented as intended to provide you with the most significant and lasting results.  There are six core steps that are followed:

  • Observe and Gather Data
  • Analyze Data
  • Develop Solutions
  • Test Solutions
  • Finalize Solutions
  • Implement and Roll-out Solutions

FPG can apply this methodology in a phased approach, allowing you to begin with immediate goals and work towards long term potential.  Any or all of these phases can be completed depending on your concepts needs.

Initial – FPG will complete a detailed initial assessment by gathering business data and completing restaurant sampling studies to gain a thorough understanding of your current operation.  This information will then be reviewed and analyzed to determine your current strengths and challenges, and to create a list of potential opportunities.

Immediate – Based on the findings from the initial assessment and further data gathering and analysis, FPG will implement a labor system that allows you to control your labor costs effectively.

Midterm – Based on your concept’s specific needs, FPG will develop appropriate process improvements to change the day to day way that you do business.  This will assist in reducing costs, simplifying methods, and increasing your profit.

Longterm – FPG will create new and retrofitted facility designs which implement all critical technology and equipment to keep your concept moving forward in an efficient and profitable direction.  These designs will incorporate all the new processes developed and any new labor management techniques identified during earlier project phases.
